Location: Toronto and GTA
Rate of Pay: $36.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Hours: Permanent Full-Time
Required: As soon as possible
Job Duties
- Locate and measure site location and placement of stone and equipment
- Lay out patterns or foundations, based on blueprints
- Shape, trim, face and cut stone preparatory to setting; using power saws, cutting equipment and hand tools (including drilling and breaking with precision)
- Mechanically fasten stone or marble in place, according to layout
- Smooth, polish and bevel surfaces using hand tools and power tools
Requirements
- Ability to work with a variety of hand tools (angle grinders, wet saw, drills, mixer)
- Applicant will require their own personal tools and transportation
- Strong work ethic
- Good physical fitness
- Ability to work within a team
- Safety gear Hard hat, steel toe boots, high visibility vest)
- Conversational English
Education
- High School
Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with mechanical set stone veneer cladding
Credentials: (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc)
- Safety cards (WHMIS, Working at Heights, Worker Health and Safety Awareness)
- Drivers license required
